I’m a Solutions-oriented Immunologist Consultant and passionate Drug Hunter. I have in depth knowledge of life sciences after over 20 years of multidisciplinary research in acute and long-term herpesvirus infection, herpesvirus-mediated immune inflation, acute preeclampsia, post-preeclamptic immune, cardiac, kidney, and vascular diseases.
I have 7 years of hands-on clinical trial experience specializing in vulnerable populations: Starting studies at new sites including IRB protocol- and other materials and committee interactions. Vulnerable populations, clinical research collaborations with the US military, IRB education (studies the IRB is unfamiliar with).
I have published 20+ peer-reviewed manuscripts, 4 highly read review articles (1300+ citations, h-factor=18, i10-index=20)
I am a strong cross-cultural and science communicator, entrepreneurial, with a global mindset, a forward-thinker, avid team-player and builder, goal-oriented, a problem-solver, and deeply passionate for high-quality science and progress.
I’m extremely passionate about women’s health and trying to raise awareness about it. I’m always looking to help others and happy to answer any questions anyone may have.
My goal is to make a difference and change the way maternal health is handled in the US and to develop a treatment for preeclampsia in the next decade. I truly feel that having this platform and hopefully interacting with more of you, I will get a lot closer to those goals.
At the SoCalFlow Summit on April 25-26, I will give a workshop “So what’s YOUR story: How to present a scientific talk that people will remember”. I hope to inspire, teach, and most of all help you enjoy telling YOUR stories of scientific discoveries in the future.
DSGO and ImmunoVation partnered up to deliver a fun event that will change the lives of women with the pregnancy disease preeclampsia.
