ImmunoVation is a boutique consulting firm focused on translational immunology, mechanistic interpretation, and scientific communication. We support teams working on biologically complex programs where data are messy, signals are hard to interpret, and the next decision matters.

Founded by Andrea Loewendorf, PhD, ImmunoVation brings deep expertise in reproductive immunology, immune tolerance, liver immunology, viral immunology, and translational research. The company works at the interface of science, strategy, and communication — helping clients connect data, mechanism, and action.

Meet Our Team

Andrea Loewendorf, PhD

I am a biologist working at the interface of immunology, translational research, and complex biological systems.

I founded ImmunoVation to help make sense of difficult biology — especially in situations where data are incomplete, signals are subtle, and the next decision matters.

Background

I was trained as a biologist and have worked extensively on immunological questions in translational contexts. Over time, my focus has shifted toward integrating biological understanding with broader system-level thinking.

Current focus

I am currently expanding my work through formal training in computational sciences, modeling, and simulation at Freie Universität Berlin.

This allows me to complement biological intuition with quantitative and systems-level approaches — with the goal of better understanding dynamic processes, complex interactions, and emerging patterns in translational immunology.

How I work: Dr. Loewendorf

I am a mechanism-focused scientist.

Rather than looking at isolated readouts, I work to understand how biological processes connect — across cell types, tissues, and clinical observations.

Science is often messy, especially in human systems. My work focuses on extracting meaningful structure from that complexity.

A personal note

I am deeply motivated by the belief that even very complex biological systems can be understood — and that clarity in science can directly improve decisions, outcomes, and ultimately patient care.
